The Summer Play

The Little Red Kettle Summer Play is the highpoint of our artistic calendar bringing together a cast of young people from a range of different backgrounds, to create a piece of vital, vigorous and exciting theatre that speaks directly of our mission and vision . Led by the LRK artistic team, the company works with the group over a period of two months to develop an original piece of theatre in a fun and creative environment. It is an immersive experience and participants explore all aspects of theatre making.

The process encourages participants to develop their own artistic and creative practice and learn the skills necessary to work with a large group.

Annual Interactive Touring Play

Our annual interactive touring play is at the very core of what we do at Little Red Kettle. Devised by the LRK artistic team, the play explores theatre making, performance and the issues of the day and tours to schools throughout Waterford City, County and the South East. For many, it will be their first experience of live theatre and we encourage active participation to create a fully immersive experience.
